Pam has always been interested in the visual arts – creating artwork in pen and ink, colored pencils and pastels as well as doing calligraphy. She began her career as a graphic designer first at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY followed by Group Four in Simsbury, CT., then did freelance work while raising 2 sons.

In 2003 she shifted her focus to decorating and started her own business – Hartz & Homes. Pam specialized in interior redesign – creating beautiful spaces using the homeowners existing furniture, artwork and accessories, usually making the transformation in a day.

Pam has continued expressing herself through her artwork and in 2013 she discovered Zentangle® ,a pattern based art form that has been compared to yoga and meditation. It appealed to her sense of design and graphics. She became a CZT (Certified Zentangle Teacher) and is now offering classes.

Whether it's sharing her knowledge of the Zentangle® method of art or creating a portrait of your favorite pet, she feels that art enhances your life and brings personality to your home.

Pam lives in Middletown, CT with her husband. Together they enjoy exploring the parks of the state, art museums and historical sites. Pam finds relaxation tangling each day.
